The Big Machine / Duntov team acquired a third Meissen chassis after Brainerd, when Scott bought the Camaro that Edward had driven to a third place at COTA last year and a 7th place at Sebring in February.
The pic above is from the pre-Sebring test at Eagles Canyon. The car was perfect right out of the trailer.
Scott’s car lacked the vinyl wrap after the wreck repair, but other than that, it was as good as new. Unfortunately, his race ended on the second lap when he got caught up in an accordion crash in Turn 5 that he had no chance to avoid. Edward had had an earlier incident exiting Turn 3 that put him out for the weekend. It was just not working out for us her at Road America, and there was a lot of work to do before the next race, and again there would be only just enough time to fix the cars and no time for testing!
