Special recognition is due to the late Elfi Duntov, who graciously granted permission to organize under her name, and who helped pave the way for the resumption of production of the GM authorized Corvette Grand Sports. Elfi’s late husband Zora was the first Corvette Chief Engineer. His dream was to build a Cobra killer and take it to LeMans. Now, almost 50 years later, thanks to Elfi, we are planning to make that trip.

We have been working and racing with Richard since 1980. From the early seventies he ran the shop at Reher-Morrison Racing Engines in Arlington, Texas. During his tenure, R&M won 4 NHRA Pro Stock Championships.
Once Richard experienced road racing, he was hooked. His expertise extends far beyond our engine department, but he has few peers building road racing engines. At Duntov he as built every type of Chevrolet racing engine from Blue Flame sixes, to FI small blocks and of course L88 and ZR1 big blocks. Richard personally builds, rebuilds and tunes all our racing engines. |

Edward Sevadjian has been with our race team for every race since 1986. After attending Colorado State University he began full time with Duntov in 2005 and co-drove with Alan in the historic endurance races. Today he is President of Duntov Motor Company and the number 1 driver on the Duntov race team. He sets the pace for all our drivers and provides the data that helps our other drivers improve. Edward is testing at the racetrack at least once a week year-round. Although a two time National Champion already, his greatest contribution to Duntov’s success is his ability as a coach to help our customer drivers achieve success. He also has the unique ability to diagnose what the car needs and quickly make the required adjustments. In addition to his roles as driver, coach and race engineer, Edward is also a master fabricator and one of the best welders in the company. |

Alan Sevadjian has been racing, restoring, and working on Corvettes for more than 50 years. As a driver, he has won four SCCA championships, but his passion has always been the Grand Sport. He owned and drove Grand Sport 003 from 1965-1968. Since 1980 Alan has made his Corvette racing passion a part of a Corvette centered business. For the past 13 years that passion and Duntov Motor Company are one. Alan’s role is the business is in driver development and new products. He still races every chance he gets, most recently as Clair Schwendeman’s co driver in the endurance events.
