Duntov built this car for Tony Parella in the winter of 2011-2012. Its first race was a CVAR event at Eagles Canyon in May of 2012, which Tony won. Tony raced the car Mid Ohio and at Watkins Glen in 2012 and along with co-driver Edward Sevadjian, he ran both SVRA events held at Sebring In March, 2013. In the enduro, Edward broke the SVRA Group 6 lap record in this car with a lap of 2:16.034, which was four seconds faster than any Group 6 lap during either of those Sebring weekends by four seconds! Tony ran the car next at Road America in May, and then in June on the way to Watkins Glen, the car was damaged in Duntov’s trailer fire. Of the four cars involved, it sustained the least damage, which was basically limited to fiberglass and aluminum.

Duntov rebuilt two of the trailer fire cars for customers Clair Schwendeman and Jim Kitzmiller. Both cars were better after the rebuild than before. Clair lowered his fastest lap at Sebring to a 2:19, winning the HSR December 2014 Group 5 race there, and went on to win the Group 6 Enduro National Championship in his car in 2015. Jim Kitzmiller's car won the Group 6 Enduro National Championship at Circuit of the Americas in 2015 as well as the Group 6 Sprint Race National Championship in both 2015 and 2016.
This 1971 Corvette is undergoing a full restoration and the plan is to have it ready to race and win at the 2017 SVRA season opener at Sebring on March 2nd. It will be running a small block.
