This may look like it doesn't belong on the Duntov website, but it does. We are often called on to fabricate, build or restore project cars that come with little or no reference material. This was a mechanical and aesthetic restoration done entirely in house.
The Flint is a creation of GM's founder, William Durant. After some financial trouble, Durant was forced out of GM in 1920 after which he formed Durant Motors in 1921. The Flint was Durant's direct competitor to GM's Buick, which was also built in Flint, Michigan.
Flints were produced from 1923-1927. Durant Motors ultimately failed in 1933.
